MiniLink, Compact modules

Small modules.
More capability for your equipment.

Add serial connectivity, digital I/O or CAN conversion where installation space is limited.

Seven slim MiniLink modules: Y201-R, Y201-L, Y201-W, Y201-G, Y301-020, Y301-110 and Y301-200

Small by design

Make room for
one more function.

A slim module can sit alongside the controller or instrument you already use. Start with the space available inside your device or enclosure.

Y301-110 / 200 / 020

Allow additional space for mounting, terminals and wiring. Other models have different dimensions.

Integrate with what you have

  1. Check the complete installation space

Allow for the housing, mounting tabs, terminals and cable bends. Radio models also need antenna clearance and a suitable antenna position.

  2. Match the electrical interface

Choose the serial variant, I/O combination or CAN format that matches your existing device. Confirm TTL voltage for the ordered version.

  3. Plan power and mounting

Check the model’s DC supply and mounting drawing. Keep terminal access and maintenance space clear inside the equipment.

Eight models. Pick the network, the I/O count or the CAN bridge.

Start from the function you are adding, then match the interface and installation space.

Compact Y201-R serial-to-Ethernet gateway

Y201, One serial port

Connect a serial device to a network

Add the network your instrument or controller needs. Choose RS232, RS485 or TTL when ordering; each unit has one physical serial port.

Y201-G4G Cat.1
Y201-W2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
Y201-REthernet
Y201-LPrivate LoRa

Y201-L forwards serial data over private LoRa; it is not LoRaWAN. Check cellular bands and local radio requirements.

Add a few digital I/O points

Collect contact states and pulse counts, or add relay outputs. RS232 and selected TTL versions are ordering options.

No built-in wireless. Network access needs a separate compatible gateway.

Y201C compact CAN-to-serial converter

Y201C, CAN 2.0A/B

Bridge CAN and serial

Exchange data between one CAN bus and one ordered RS232, RS485 or TTL interface. Match the CAN frame definition and serial format.

No Ethernet interface. TTL voltage and firmware-dependent settings need a check for the supplied version.

Installation space, interfaces and adding MiniLink to existing equipment.

Do all MiniLink models have the same dimensions?

No. The Y301-110 / 200 / 020 specification lists 77.4 × 22.5 × 16.2 mm. Y201 and Y201C dimensions differ. Use the selected model’s mechanical drawing and allow additional space for terminals, mounting, cable bends and antenna connections.

Can MiniLink work with my existing equipment?

Check the equipment’s electrical interface, communication protocol and supply first. Y201 connects a serial device to the selected network, Y301 adds Modbus RTU digital I/O, and Y201C converts between CAN and serial. Network modes, data formats and device parameters still need to match.

Does one Y201 provide RS232, RS485 and TTL at the same time?

No. Each Y201 has one physical serial port with the electrical interface selected when ordering. Network sockets are logical connections, not additional serial ports. Verify the TTL voltage for the supplied variant before wiring.

Does a Y301 module connect directly to Wi-Fi, 4G or LoRa?

These three Y301 models are serial Modbus RTU I/O modules. Network access requires a separate compatible gateway. Y201-L carries serial data over a private LoRa link; it is not a LoRaWAN device or a direct MQTT uplink.

What should I send for an integration check?

Describe the existing equipment, available installation space, supply voltage, interface and function you want to add. For a cellular link include the country and operator; for CAN conversion include the CAN frame definition and required serial format.
