Y951 is a multi-circuit cabinet with 4G, Wi-Fi or RJ45 connectivity. It handles remote switching, cloud schedules, status viewing and local manual control.

Smart Temporary Power Distribution Box

Y952 is a mobile secondary temporary-power distribution box with local electrical protection and connected monitoring for construction sites, exhibitions and outdoor events.

Wireless Control Cabinet

Y953 uses an independent LoRa link between a controller and one or more wireless cabinets for one-to-many site control without 4G, Wi-Fi or wired Internet for the basic control path.

Complete site information makes it easier to separate a standard product from a project-specific cabinet.

Equipment and starting method

List pumps, fans, lighting, aerators, valves and other loads. Note start/stop, reversing or sensor-triggered control.

Circuits and load

Give the circuit count, voltage, rated power, inrush current, starting method and operating frequency. A device count alone is not enough.

Network and distance

Check whether stable 4G, Wi-Fi or RJ45 is available. Without an external network, assess Y953 LoRa distance, obstacles and repeater positions.

Temporary-power conditions

For mobile installations, list supply, grounding, connectors, local protection, redeployment and alarm needs; try Y952 first.

Power and installation

Note controller, cabinet and repeater positions, mounting height, power access, antenna conditions and enclosure protection.

Feedback and platform

A circuit switching state is not proof the load is running. Say whether you need history, cross-site management, run feedback or offline logic.

Operating boundaries

What the product name does not decide

Control state, monitoring state and electrical safety actions are different layers. Check each layer in the product documents and project scope.

  • “Remote switching” describes a command or circuit state. It does not prove that a pump, fan or other load is running; add current monitoring, run feedback or another verification method when required.
  • Y951 remote, scheduled and cloud-linkage functions need the selected network path. Offline schedules, sensor logic and local edge control need a separate project review.
  • Y952 protection thresholds, response time and recovery behavior follow the selected model documentation and project configuration. Monitoring messages do not replace site operating procedures or electrical authorization.
  • Y953’s 10 km figure is the maximum direct link in unobstructed conditions. Terrain, buildings, antenna height and interference affect coverage; repeaters or a site test may be required.

Are Y951, Y952 and Y953 three communication versions of one cabinet?

No. Y951 is for connected multi-circuit remote management; Y952 is a temporary-power distribution box with local protection and monitoring; Y953 uses an independent LoRa link for local one-to-many control where external networks or long control cables are impractical.

Should I choose Y951 or Y953 for a remote control cabinet?

Choose Y951 when the site can use 4G, Wi-Fi or RJ45 and operators need cross-location cloud management. Choose Y953 when basic control can stay within a site on an independent LoRa link without depending on external Internet service. Check circuits, loads and operating conditions for either product.

What information should I prepare before selecting a smart distribution box?

Have the equipment list, circuit count, voltage, rated power, inrush current, starting method, operating frequency, network, distance, obstacles, power access, installation position, alarms, feedback and any cloud or offline-control need ready.

Can Y951 operate when the network is down?

The standard Y951 cannot receive new remote, scheduled or cloud-linkage commands while offline. Local manual control remains available while the cabinet is powered. Offline schedules or sensor logic need a separate local-control design.

Can Y953 work without 4G, Wi-Fi or wired Internet?

Yes for its basic site-control path. Y953 uses a private LoRa link between the controller and wireless cabinets. The maximum direct distance is up to 10 km in unobstructed conditions; actual coverage follows the site and may need repeaters.

What happens when the standard product does not cover the load or logic?

Do not select by product name alone. Review the load, protection, starting method, reversing behavior, sensor linkage, offline logic, enclosure and installation conditions. YenGear can assess multiple standard units or a custom cabinet.
